Focus and scope

Revista Electrónica Transformar is an open access journal. The Editorial Committee deeply appreciates respect for deontological and ethical standards. Our magazine ascribes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

The objective of Electronic Magazine Transformar is to disseminate the production in the field of Educational Sciences, at a global level, allowing authors to communicate their findings and the extensive work in this wide field of knowledge. Its thematic coverage is education in all its disciplines and applications. The journal's target audience is made up of researchers, undergraduate and graduate students and, in general, any public interested in the disciplines of Education.

Our frequency of publication is quarterly: December - March - June - September

Item types

Our Magazine publishes the following types of articles:

  • Scientific articles: They must be original, derived from research; no more than 25 pages, including the full text, maximum 35 bibliographic references, up to 5 tables, up to 5 figures and up to 1 appendix.
  • Bibliographic review articles: They must be original. No more than 25 pages, including the full text, maximum 30 bibliographic references, up to 5 tables, up to 5 figures and up to 1 appendix. Meta analysis and systematic reviews can include as many references as necessary.
  • Essays: They must be original. No more than 15 pages, including the full text, up to 25 bibliographic references, up to 4 tables, up to 4 figures and up to 1 appendix, if applicable.
  • Experiences: They must be original. No more than 15 pages, including the full text, up to 25 bibliographic references, up to 4 tables, up to 4 figures and up to 1 appendix, if applicable.

Publishing costs

Online publishing costs: 100 USD (20-25 pages). This payment covers various operating costs, such as editing and hosting. However, our collaborators are exempt from payment.

Legal deposit

Electronic Magazine Transformar complies with the Legal Deposit, regulation framed within the Chilean law Nº 19,733.
