Review Policy
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, assuming that the work has not been previously published or is not under review by another journal. Articles that fall outside the journal's scope will be rejected immediately following the preliminary review. Our journal emphasizes the importance of the review process, not only from the research perspective but also from the reviewers' standpoint. Therefore, we strive to establish quality and transparency standards as outlined below:
- Once the author submits the article, the Editor-in-Chief will verify that it meets the minimum requirements to proceed.
- Articles sent for review must be anonymized, removing the author’s name, title, organization, or institution, to initiate the double-blind peer review process, which ensures impartiality and objectivity throughout the publication process.
- Revista Publicando employs the double-blind peer review method, meaning that the author does not know the identity of the reviewers, and the reviewers are not informed of the authors' identities or affiliations. Reviewers are not required to sign their reviews, and feedback for authors comes exclusively from the Editor-in-Chief.
- Reviewers are selected from the journal's database, and external specialists may be contacted if necessary. Reviewers receive a review form to guide them through the evaluation process.
- Reviewers do not interact with each other; their work is coordinated by the Editor-in-Chief.
- After completing the evaluation, reviewers must issue a judgment in one of the following categories: Accepted, Accepted with Minor Revisions, Accepted with Major Revisions, or Rejected.
- The Editor-in-Chief will collect the reviewers' verdicts and may seek an additional opinion if needed, following the same process as described above.
- The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for communicating the final decision on the manuscript to the author, including detailed reasons for the decision.
- If the article is accepted with minor or major revisions, the author will receive the reviewers’ suggestions. If the author accepts these suggestions, they must resubmit the corrected article within the assigned timeframe.
- The revised version will be compared to the original, and a decision will be made on whether to continue with the editing process.
This policy ensures fairness, transparency, and rigor in the review process to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity.
