Call for Papers Revista Transformar – September 2026 Edition

Revista Transformar invites researchers, academics, teachers, graduate students, and professionals in the field of education to submit original manuscripts for its September 2026 edition. For this issue, the journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, methodological, and reflective contributions that address current transformations in education, with special emphasis on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, active learning, generic competencies, and curriculum internationalization.  Submissions may be written in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.

Thematic Focus

Manuscripts may address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Digital transformation in higher education institutions.
  • Artificial intelligence applied to teaching, learning, assessment, and academic management.
  • Ethical, pedagogical, and institutional challenges of AI in education.
  • Active learning methodologies in face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended environments.
  • Development and assessment of generic competencies in higher education.
  • Curriculum innovation and competency-based education.
  • Internationalization of the curriculum and intercultural learning.
  • Digital competencies among students, teachers, and academic leaders.
  • Educational technology, emerging learning environments, and pedagogical innovation.
  • Research experiences, case studies, and good practices related to educational transformation.

Types of Contributions

Revista Transformar welcomes the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original research articles.
  • Systematic or narrative literature reviews.
  • Theoretical or reflective articles.
  • Case studies and educational innovation experiences.
  • Methodological contributions related to instruments, models, or frameworks for educational research.

Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. Authors are required to follow the journal’s author guidelines, including formatting, citation style, ethical standards, and manuscript structure.

All submissions must be made through the journal’s OJS platform, using the appripiate journal template. Authors must register or log in to submit their manuscripts and monitor the editorial process.
